13-year-old Christiane meets the addict Detlef in the trendy Sound nightclub. They fall in love and Christiane secretly goes to the Sound more and more often. Without her parents or her school knowing, Christiane becomes addicted to heroin. In the morning she just goes to school. In the afternoon, like other young addicts, she solicits at the Zoo metro station and on the street to get money for her addiction.
